ProRangers Win 5K Relay Event

ProRangers participated in the "Funky Santa" 5K run and 5K relay race in Pottstown on Sunday. The weather was chilly but tolerable for this pre-holiday event.

Melissa Burch ran the 5K and took home a 3rd place trophy. Amber Hagan ran the 5K and completed it with a new personal best time.

Charles Papacostas, Wayne Lamb, and Jay Copper ran the 5K relay event 1n 18:20 and were the FIRST PLACE Winners!!! We at the National Park Service and Temple University are proud of all these ProRangers for representing the program with distinction, and look forward to the next event. ProRanger!

Welcome Cohort 2

On behalf of the first cohort with the ProRanger Program I would like to welcome the second generation. What better way to get started with the program than to build teamwork and confidence at a rappelling event at Wissahickon Valley, Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. I hope that it was a fond memory that will soon be one of many within the program. Good Luck!
